The objective of our seminar is to increase understanding in how people use accessible facilities. Are Part M packs suitable in every instance? The simple answer is no, alternative arrangements will be necessary for Changing Places facilities, school hygiene rooms and more generally where there is a reasonable expectation that users will be assisted by carers.

Our talk examines access and spatial requirements for using the toilet, basin and shower individually, and as integrated functions within a well thought out room design.

This CPD seminar is RIBA approved and a part of the RIBA CPD Core Curriculum.

      Feedback from our attendees

Here is a word from one of our previous seminar attendees.

”Thanks for the CPD, it was really helpful and informative. It’s great to get a much clearer understanding of the needs of different users, and how small design decisions can have a really big impact. Also refreshing to have a CPD that’s not just based around the minimum requirements of building regs! The design guide looks really useful too. We’ll definitely be in touch if we have any relevant projects to discuss”.
