Materials
The feed pipes are made from SPX plastic, braided with stainless steel. The connecting nuts are 1/2” in both ends and made from brass. The waste pipe is flexible, corrugated white PVC with a diameter of 32 mm, and comes with an adaptor to fit 40 mm. We do not recommend flushing the waste hose with formaldehyde. The elbow with removable connector is made from PP (polypropylene) with a seal of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer). Maximum temperatures of use are 80°C (continuous use) and 90°C (temporary use). PP is very resistant to water, damp and most organic solvents. The seal is made from EPDM – Temperature of use from -50°C - +120°C/150°C EPDM is particularly resistant to ozone and weather. Good resistance to heat and cold and to most chemicals – but poor resistance to petroleum products and solvents.
Ergonomy
To maximize product flexibility, it is important that the plumbing installation are correctly positioned and do not obstruct movement. The waste hose can be shortened on site to fit the installation.

Pressalit supply a kit of flexible feed pipes for hot and cold water along with a flexible waste hose. The UK kit includes right-angled isolating valves that should be connected to the water supply and a Ø40 mm waste connection that will fit to UK plumbing with the aid of a compression fitting (not included).

Cleaning
When cleaning the wash basin, it is recommended that one flush the waste hose through with 50-60 degrees hot water in order to prevent build-up of soap residues inside the hose. Ensure that the hose is stretched out during this flushing.

When the aluminum parts have been washed down with this solution, the parts must be wiped over with a damp cloth wrung out in clear water.

The wall track is primarily made of 10-micrometre anodized aluminium. The cover plate is made of polystyrene and the ends of the track are capped with ABS polymer.

The track distributes the weight of the individual bathroom product, for example a wash basin bracket, along its entire length. The products can be adjusted and locked on to the track with intuitive locking functions.

The wash basin bracket is primarily made of 10-micrometre anodized aluminium. The ends of the bracket cover are capped with ABS polymer. The bracket is available with a lever control consisting of an ABS polymer switch at the end of an anodized aluminium arm

The height of the wash basin is easily adjusted by means of the lever control. The wash basin bracket suits all types of bolt-mounted wash basin. Its rounded, sleek design greatly facilitates cleaning.

The arm that holds the lever control can function as a towel rail. The lever control can be placed on the right- or left-hand side of the wash basin. This wash basin bracket is supplied as standard with a gas cylinder for wash basins weighing 16-22 kg, however, it is possible to order it for wash basins weighing 8-12 kg or 12-16 kg.

The product must be wiped down with a soft rag wrung out in clear water immediately after cleaning, as some materials may otherwise be discolored and stained, and the surface coating may deteriorate.
DECALCIFICATION OF ALUMINUM PARTS:
Pressalit recommends that chalky deposits be removed from wall tracks and other aluminum parts using a solution of three parts 30% acetic acid to seven parts tap water. When the aluminum parts have been washed down with this solution, the parts must be wiped over with a damp cloth wrung out in clear water.

Cleaning
Use a mild soap solution to clean the toilet seat. Please take care that the seat and hinges are not left damp. For disinfecting the seat, e.g. ethanol 85% can be used. Make sure that the product is wiped down with a soft rag wrung out in clear water and dried off with a soft, dry cloth immediately after disinfection.
Avoid contact of the seat and hinges with abrasive, corrosive or chlorine-based cleaners, as these may cause damage or lead to flash rust. Therefore, when cleaning the bowl, make sure that the seat and cover are kept in an upright position until all cleaning agent has been flushed away.

Your Pressalit toilet seat is subject to a 10-year product warranty against presentation of receipt. You should contact the dealer or store where you purchased the seat in the event of a complaint.
In the event of complaints about defective materials and/or manufacturing defects and/or functional limitations ascertained within a 10-year period, following proper use and cleaning of the toilet seat (we reserve the right to examine the toilet seat at our factory), Pressalit will deliver spare parts or replace the toilet seat by an identical or similar model. If the color is no longer available, Pressalit reserves its right to replace the toilet seat by a similar model in the color white. Upon replacement or delivery of a spare part, the warranty period will not be extended nor renewed. If replacement is not possible, Pressalit may instead refund the purchase price.
