PLUS folding seat, fixed height

The seat is suitable for situations where additional seating is required and space is limited, - e.g. in kitchens, lifts and corridors or on the landings.
The folding seat is not suitable for use in the shower area.
Expected service life is 10 year.

The seat can be folded away when not in use, - or to free up space. Stays up by itself when folded away.

Ergonomically shaped seat, which offers good and comfortable support.

Maximum user mass: 960 lbs.
When the seat is loaded with 960 lbs, each wall fastener is loaded with 436 lbs.
Please note that a user weight of 960 kg may require a reinforced wall for secure installation.
A user weight of up to 578 lbs can be installed on a standard wall, depending on the wall type, provided that our installation instructions are followed. When the seat is loaded with 578 lbs, each wall fastener is loaded with 264 lbs.

The seat has been tested statically with safety factor 1.5, which is a requirement according to the applied assistive products standards.

Pressalit makes a commitment to remedy material and manufacturing defects for a period of five years from the invoicing date.

This product is produced in compliance with all relevant requirements of:
- Regulation (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices (Risk class I, rule 1)

The folding seat is made out of thermoset plastic, and the mounting and suspension bracket are made from 3/8" anodised aluminium. The end caps are made from ABS plastic.

This product should be cleaned with hot water or a mild cleaning solution.
Do not use chlorine based, corrosive or abrasive cleaners as it may result in the surface being damaged.

The following cleaning agents have been tested by Pressalit and may be used, as long as they are diluted according to the instructions on the container.

The product must be wiped down with a soft rag wrung out in clear water immediately after cleaning, as some materials may otherwise be discolored and stained, and the surface coating may deteriorate.

DECALCIFICATION OF ALUMINUM PARTS:
Pressalit recommends that water deposits (Calcium, lime etc.) be removed from wall tracks and other aluminum parts using a solution of three parts of 30% acetic acid to seven parts tap water. When the aluminum parts have been washed down with this solution, the parts should be wiped over with a damp cloth wrung out in plain water.
