Para sports and keep living

The majority of our sponsorship budget is reserved for parasports

We have a multiannual agreement with the Danish Sports Organisation for the Disabled, and together we set up the Pressalit Sports Academy, which this year celebrates its 10-year anniversary. The Academy provides a setting where Danish elite athletes, talents and coaches can get together to work on training optimisation, sports psychology, nutrition and much more.

Our commitment to para sports gets a special focus every four years during the Olympic and Paralympic Games. In 2021 it is the Japanese city of Tokyo that will be hosting the event, and we will of course follow the Danish athletes closely, both before, during and after the Games. You can read more about our commitment and involvement with the athletes' preparations on our blog here on the site. Here you can also find video clips from the athletes themselves filmed at important competitions and events.

We also have several personal sponsorships. It is natural for us to contribute to making cultural and recreational opportunities available for the disabled. Just as Pressalit contributes to making their daily lives better in their own homes.

Every year, Pressalit awards the Pressalit Keep Living Award to the Parasports Athlete of the year. The award of DKK 20,000 is a way of honouring disabled athletes who set an example through their sport. They show that there are opportunities available where others might not see them, which is the quintessence of Pressalit's philosophy.
